The lizard/iguana is nice and sharp but to bright! could do with a lower exposure. also the background is too cluttered and sharp also, this could be solved by either using a lower aperture or selecting the background in photoshop and adding gaussian blur to it. also take more time to consider what the background looks lie as it is one of the main features in macro photoghraphy.
overall this photo is very nice, the eyes are sharp as the should be and so is the rest. if you used a flash maybe turn it down a little though.
I love this photo a lot! Highlights: the detail you can see in his scales and eyes, you managed to create expression on what many people tend to view as a emotionless creature. You managed to get almost the entire head of the animal in focus, while the background is unfocused and non distracting
Improvements: One thing that I would change (though this is more of a picky personal thing) is that the eye is almost in the direct center of the photo. I am a huge fan of the rule of thirds, and when I see the eye in the center, I feel like it look a little unatural in the composition.
